Gabriel Tolmajyan gets his 8th victory in 9 professional bouts via quick and dramatic fashion by landing a devastating left to his opponent’s chin at the 2:18 mark of the very first round.
Tolmajyan cam out aggressively and followed the instructions from his corner to work the opponents body. By the end of the first minute of the first round, Morales was already dropping his hands to protect his midsection which was taking a pounding. From then, the fight was pretty much fundamental in that Tolmajyan faked to the body and landed a devastating blow to the head of Morales which floored him and rendered him unable to continue. This was truly a clinic in speed and boxing that was put on by the Armenian boxer who fought in front of a couple of hundred of his fellow countrymen who made the 2 hour drive from Los Angeles to the Aqua Caliente Casino in Palm Springs.
